Peter Milchard

I have been working within the Fleet and Road Risk Management industry for over 30 years, and am an experienced Fleet Manager in respect of cars, vans and commercials vehicles. A significant part of my career has been within the insurance industry, focussing on improving clients fleet risk management and reducing collisions.

I am a qualified Transport Manager (Transport CPC) and also Health & Safety Trained (Nebosh). I hold a Diploma in Fleet Management and I have remained involved with the AFP as Board Member and Trainer, where I provide Fleet Managers with additional skills and confidence to operate fleets and manage Road Risk.

I am an awardee of Fleet Manager of the Year following involvement in project work for a number of established companies and improving the fleet management standards. As part of secondment as I underwent formal training and qualification for Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) now being Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP).

I have been involved with ARRM and previously AIRSO for over 20 years
